Case studies: Thinking through strategies to support reading and writing difficulties.

I am reading about ld-related issues widely these days, following the themes that are coming up in the Whole Life project. I thought I would share these themes, and the research I am reading, every so often on this blog. I’d love to hear your experiences too!

My “issue” for today is the difficulty of obtaining accurate diagnoses of learning disabilities on one hand, and the ever-present need to support learners with appropriate strategies on the other. I have found that thinking through specific case studies of learners is helpful.
